Snide remarks about "jabbering" aside, it does not surprise me some
people do not observe the intermod increase. It takes two or more
strong signals to produce IM products, and many operators probably
would not recognize it as a receiver problem and might dismiss it as
a transmitter problem or even think the IM was a "good signal" that
was supposed to be there!

It is not desired-signal distortion, it is intermod that creates
phantom signals that really are not there. There is a huge
difference, and you probably are not looking for the actual problem.

It is not desired signal distortion, it is IM3 intermod.73, Tom W8JI
