[1000mp] FT-1000MP back ground hiss. Problems?

Yes,  this is EXACTLY what happened when I reported my 1000mp display taking at
least two minutes to come up to brightness when the power is turned on. I
phoned Yaesu support and repair and was told taht this was impossible. Then a
few months later I told Chip M. about this at Visalia several years ago when my
mp was still in warranty. He followed the above procedure to the letter.
I did not get it repaired as they said there was no problem and no possible fix.
