GM other steve;
Well...this keyer in my MP didn't start to exhibit these 'runaway' symptoms
until after I had the radio for well over a year. And...it is intermittent
on this radio. On the plus side, I felt 10 years younger when I finally
figured out it was the radio and not my 65 yr-old good hands doing the
thing. Then it got worse... I bought the new external keyer, and...guess
what? The MP keyer fixed itself just b4 I was going to open the box on the
new keyer. That was several months ago, now it's starting to act up agn
after a few moths of relatively non-ditty operation. BTW...it just got me
thru a 35wpm exchange with k1b on 17 (finally)...life is interesting...73/dx
