Hi Jay and all,
Yes the NB on the MKV is menu level adjustable. There is a quick access
shortcut to it which means hold one button while pressing the NB. I have
extensively fooled around with it and for my power line noise junk one
setting is all thats needed. Its then a question of on or off.
I also use my MKV as an IF for a trv and am very happy with the combo. ve7xf
has an MP beside a MKV with the trv being used on the MP and after fiddling
for a while I would definitely not bother buying a MKV if I all ready had an
MP ( for MY purposes anyway).
Besides Jay you have that 'tractor beam' that sucks up all the 6m dx down
there anyway.....you could use a ic706 and still put me to shame....!grin!
Regards from cn89,
Jason, ve7ag
