A good NR has to reduce noise and not suppress voice.
I find the EDSP (Contour and NR) on the Mark V very usefull on CW but
useless on SSB.
For SSB I use the INRAD-filters and under heavy conditions the IDBT (Shift
and Width).
The NR and Twin PassBandTuning on the ProII are superior, for certain with
the graphic readout on the display!
