[1000mp] Intermittent Rcvr prob

Hello MP Gurus,

I have a similar problem with my MP. When I am not using any extension 
speaker or headphones (ie using the Tcvr speaker) the audio intermittently 
drops in and out. By turning up the rig volume I can get the drop out rate 
to reduce until at high volume there is hardly no drop out of audio at all. 
Initially thought it a problem with the AF volume pot but then why would it 
not show the same problem with say headphones or a speaker in line?? 
Possibly a dry joint to the TCVR speaker and extra vibration from increased 
volume is making the connection. This problem exists regardless of DSP / 
other rig settings. Any ideas (other than those mooted by me??)
