[1000mp] Class A Problem

Dear Bob,

Could be a software problem.

I have something strange too, what seems a software problem to me.

In the CW mode on 3,5 MHz, when I switch on:
- Monitor
- Keyer
- Break In
and I touch my paddles, the Mark V starts to scan very slowly...

When I switch off one of these three functions the slow scanning stops. =
When I switch it on again (independent which one) the scanning starts =
again.

I tried all combinations with other functions, but it only occurs when the =
three above mentioned functions are switched on together.

I think this is a software problem too. Probably a bug.

I'm stumped. Suddenly tonight on 17 mtr SSB when I'm in Class A in the Mark =
V, driving the Quadra, when I push to talk or activate through the VOX, a =
full power carrier, that can't be turned off by PTT or VOX, locks on. If I =
push the Class A button and disable Class A it goes off. It doesn't happen =
with the Amp turned off or in the idle mode and it doesn't happen, with or =
without the Amp, on any other band. I've been fooling all day with WriteLog =
control, but it's just the same with the computer disconnected. Anybody =
