[1000mp] FT-1000MP Mk5 Field Problem

Tom, I just ordered a full compliment of filters from INRAD and talked
with them about the thumping/clicking when narrow filters are in. They
were aware of it and had looked at a fix but decided not to do anything.
He said it was related to a slow FET. He didn't think the problem was that
annoying.
I just sold my TS-870S which was a wonderful QSK rig. I bought the Mark-V
field and it's a great rig (with all the filters) but its more of an SSB
rig than a CW op rig. I got rid of most of clicking/thumping by changing
two settings. (I am at work now so I can't give you the menu numbers but
if interested email me tonight and I'll send them to you). 73 and good
luck. Pete-K8PT
