[1000mp] Filter Question

Hi, I'm sure this has been covered in the past but I am relatively new to
the 1000MP so here goes;

I am looking to upgrade the filters in my 1000MP, right now all I have are
the stock filters. Also I use SSB about 95% of the time so I'm thinking of
add the Inrad 2.1 and 1.8kHz filters in both the 2 and 3rd IF stages, moving
the stock 500hz to the last ( option 5 ) position and adding perhaps a 250Hz
filter into the 3rd IF. Will this work ?? Obviously the displayed widths
will be wrong but will everything else work OK or do I have to change some
other Menu settings ?? (other than turning on the filters I add ?!)
