A further update. Although the Belkin one I mentioned works with the 
1000mp it still wasn't right for my Robotic dispenser, stalling for 5-10 
secs every 15 seconds or so. Not great over a 20 min program.

I have now tracked one down which is less expensive than the Belkin, but 
works flawlessly for everything I have tried.
