[1000mp] CAT cables etc

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to set up MixW to work via CAT on the 1000mp.

I am obviously doing something wrong, my guess is the RS232 cable.

Which pins are actually needed (just 2,3 and 5 or all ?) and are pins 2 
and 3 crossed over from one end to other?

The other possibility is that I am running an older Sony Vaio portable 
which only has a single USB port. I have that hooked to a Targus port 
replicator which gives me the serial port. MixW and DX4Win recognise and 
send data to the serial port. All the other Targus ports (USB, keyboard, 
mouse, parallel) work fine so that is why I am looking at the CAT lead 
as the problem.

I had DX4Win working a a long time ago with the 1000mp using an old PC 
but A) I can't find the serial lead I used then and B) the computer was 
just too noisy, electrically, to use next to the rig.
