Sorry - I forgot about the Ameritron ALS-600 and ALS-500. Ameritron is a US
company, and is not one of the Big Three I mentioned.

Everybody is allowed at least one mistake!

Odd. I thought Ameritron was a USA company.

They had a MOSFET amp and a bipolar amp since 1988. They now have a
switching supply in works to go with the MOSFET amp, and are
developing a multi-kW solid state amp around the switcher.

As a matter of fact, I did a solid state amp design for Heathkit in
1985 but they decided to can the amateur business before releasing it
and a couple other amps.

I hope you are more up to date on film than amplifiers. ;-)
