[1000mp] Key clicks and amps

Has anybody done the W8JI key click mod on a MkV yet?  If so, how does the procedure differ from doing it on an MP.

It's spring time (actually typically poor summer condx) , when a young ham's fancy turns toward thought of....AMPS!

Kinda funny but there seem to be many more manufacturers of amps than of transceivers.  Yaesu, Icom, Kenwood (in Japan),
and Ten-Tec manufacture amps as do a bunch of specialists like Acom, Alpha, Emtron, QRO Technologies, Commander,
Ameritron, Henry...  Except for the Yaecomwood solid state amps they are all much more alike than different.  Looking
inside the boxes you can't tell one from another, from a distance anyway.  They all have the same controls except for
the Acom 2000 and Alpha 87A which turn the same controls with steppers motors instead.  Ameritron has at least 4 legal
limit amps where it appears the only difference is in the particular tube(s) used. How does one decide among such a
wealth of options?
