[1000mp] MP ALC ?

Billy,

Any band -- no difference. My SWR light does not come on -- but I notice very 
high ALC voltage on the meter. Frankly, I have several times suspected the RF 
Power control pot. Also, I am not certain the two of us are having exactly 
the same problem. Mine is very intermittent, by the way, and only very rarely 
happens. The reason I responded to your thoughts on a heat relationship is 
that it seems to take a long time for the situation to resolve itself -- as 
if to need some time to cool.
