I bought the solder-in 8 MHz 400 Hz. I pulled the board, but realized I did
not have proper soldering gear to extract the stock 8 MHz filter, and my
eyesight ain't what it was, so I opted out. I traded for a 250 Hz 455 kHz
filter. I agree---the stock 500 at 8 Mhz with the 400 at 455 kHz seems FB to
me, too.
