[1000mp] DVS-2 and Mark V

Hello:

Is there some secret to making the DVS-2 work with the Mark V ??  I have
plugged the remote to the appropriate DVS-2 socket in the back of the rig,
and I get nothing.  No lights; no function.  If there is a software/hardware
switch to turn this function on, I haven't found it yet.

Can someone out there point me in the right direction ?  Calling the VP8-G
endlessly gets tiring and I would like to press it into action.
