Randy,
When I upgraded my 1000MP (not Mark V), I first used two 2.1 Inrad filters.
Using a computer spectrum display, I could see the narrowing versus the
stock 2.4 filter, but I could hardly detect it with my ears. I sent the
2.1's back and exchanged them (Inrad has a liberal exchange policy) for a
pair of 1.8's. I've been happy with them. When I traded in the MP for a Mark
V, I kept the filters and put them in the Mark V.
