It IS hard to make comparisons from year to year.  However the 6db
difference is so dramatic over a full contest, that next year with less
solar activity, the score probably would be higher anyway than this year.

For those of us who have operated many contests seriously over many years,
the 6db difference is as big as the difference between talking and yelling
in a crowded room.
