I will add this only because it has been left out . . the FL 2100B . . =
Yaesu even includes wiring instructions to connect it to the Mark V. =
The 572B's are available from Taylor. My originals are still fine, but =
I purchased a new set as insurance against a sparcity in the future. =
The amplifier works fine, but I am in agreement with an earlier poster . =
. except that he suggested spending the money on the XYL. =20
Depending on which bands would be the bands of choice, the old tri-band =
beam gets you more punch. =20
Just another opinion . . and you know about those. =20
I have a Mark V and am still in wonderment. I will put one of the Force =
12 antennas on the other end of the coax in the next month or two.

This has nothing to do with the 120V/240V discussion.
I think that using the lower Vin tap on the Ameritron amplifiers'
transformer will cause the filament voltage to rise to life =
threatening (to
the expensive 3CX1200's life, that is...) values.
