I have used the SB200 as a backup amp. driving it with a Kenwood 
TS940 or Icom 730 with no problem. It was really reliable and as you 
know was a Heathkit staple for many years (make that decades). 
Originally I believe they came with a pair of 500Zs but many ops 
substituted 572Bs for the original tubes. Mine had 572Bs when I got 
it. Gave it away to a handicapped ham - and he died shortly 
afterwards. But I don't think the amp had anything to do with that,
