[1000mp] Sticky switches

I've wondered the same thing.
The center vertical row of the switch bank to the right of the main tuning
knob of my MP has 7 'sticky' switches (hard to push) (the A<->B, A->M, 3.5,
14., 24.5, 29 and UP>). All the others seem to be OK.
One of these days I'm gonna try to take the panel off and see what's what.
I do have the service manual, but I'm not looking forward to it.
(I haven't re-done the gears on my R-390A, either)
