[1000mp] FT1000MP Key Clicks on first element DO Matter

I think I've stated this before but I guess I wasn't clear about it. The
recording is when I tuned up 800hz to W8FJ's fundamental so you can hear his
actual transmitted signal along with the pop/click. When listening on my
frequency, 800hz below him, all you hear is that pop/click of the first
element and his fundamental is completely outside of the 500hz filter
passband. I think this is causing confusion when folks listen to the
recording. It is NOT an AGC problem, and his fundamental received signal
was not overly strong.
However, W8FJ was wondering if there is a problem with his amp switching
which might be causing the first element pop/click, rather than his MP's
keying waveform so yes, that is a possibility.
