[1000mp] my Yaesu VL-1000

If I turn the remote to off, The RF unit immediately turns itself off.
But....
I can turn it on with the Front Panel Power switch.
and
I can turn it off with the Front Panel Power switch.

The switch is slightly funny. It's not an IN/OUT type.
It's like you push the side of the button.
It's like the switch rotates horizontally to make/break contact.

At least on mine it works this way.
You also have to hold the switch in for a moment longer than you would
normally expect.
