If you turn the 'Remote' switch off. Its the switch in the upper middle on the
back of the rf unit, then you can use the power switch on the front of the rf
unit.
The VL no longer goes on and off with the MP.



Correct.But I have to turn the " Remote" switch ON in order to turn the RF
unit on again.  Is there an other option I have overlooked ?
