Hello Fred,

The best thing to do is to ask Yaesu. Then you know for sure that it is
allright. When they say it's okay, don't forget to write the name of the
person at Yaesu who told you that...

I think that Yaesu is very familiar with the Inrad front-end modification,
but you never know... I did'nt hear of any warranty problems here in Europe.

By the way, this front-end mod is really working great! In the beginning I
had some problems with distortion, because I adjusted a too low (!) value in
menu 9-1. In my case value 11 is working perfect! When I compare the Mark-V
(Inrad mod installed) with the 1000D I have the same signal-to-noise/ratio.
