[1000mp] More on NO TX..

After posting the previous message on no TX...I did some more hunting.

Well, after some more investigation, this problem has really gotten strange.
Will try to go step by step to show what I have done so far.

1. The previous post shows how the problem started.
2. Pulled the radio of line and disconnected all the cables...power, ant, 
cat, key, mic,etc.
Just for grins, I pushed the MOX button (again, I had tried this before) 
and the radio went into transmit
and the power came up to normal.
3. Plugged the key in...no tx, BUT if I push the MOX button it goes into TX 
but no power.
4. Plugged key in to the front jack, I always have used the rear, same 
thing...goes into TX but no power.
5. Plugged mic in...TX came up but no power.
6. Unplug key with mic still connected...TX comes up and also power.
7. With mic plugged in and TX and power up, plugged in key...tx stays up, 
but power goes away.
8. Tried this same thing with a 3 conductor phone plug with nothing wired 
to it...same thing.
9. VOX will not work at all.

With my eyes trying to read the schematics, I am wondering if the problem 
might be Q5035
on the control board.
Any body out there smarter than I am ( that's most of you, I'm sure) have 
any opinions?
This is really getting interesting now.
