On the MP, there are both RX "IN" and "OUT" jacks. When the RX ANT
button is pressed, the transceiver's receive antenna line is broken and
diverted to both the IN and OUT jacks. In addition to routing a receive
antenna to the IN jack, a second receiver may be connected to the OUT
jack.
If a Y-Adapter is connected between the IN and OUT jacks and run to a
second receiver, that receiver AND the MP will both receive from the
main antenna when the RX ANT button is pressed. The usual caveats
apply, pertaining to parallel receivers and trying to receive on a band
far removed from the MP's selected band of operation.
