Hans, another way to install cw filters on FT1000MP on the "2.0khz" 8,2mhz
slot is to change the 8-6 menu, fixing the usual cw oscillators settings -
500-600-700hz or other as you prefer- and recalling them only when you press
the USER button on front panel.
You can set menu 8-6:
A1-UPPER
0.600
0.600
454.400
0.600
455.000
0.000
EASY-SET OFF
With USER button pressed you can receive cw with audio note 600hz using cw
filter on 2.0khz slot, with better qsk than that of 250hz slots, perhaps
with only a little less if gain than on 250hz slots.
You need this menu setting only if you install cw filter on 8,2mhz "2.0khz"
slot.
If you install cw kind filter only on "2.0khz"  455khz slot it seem to me
that you dont need change menu setting or use USER button.
