I used a Rigblaster for a little while with my MP. All you have to do is
wire the cable tom a standard Yaesu mike plug. The manual is quite
explicit about which wire is which coming from the RJ-45. One advantage of
the rigblaster is that the audio isolation transformer is built in, which
helps on AC hum from ground loops.

Another trick, which works fine for me, is to set my sound card for full
duplex and run the microphone through the sound card. You can still set
the levels individually using the Windows mixer. This way, all you need is
to plug your microphone into the sound card and connect a cable from the
line out on your sound card to the microphone jack. If there is hum on the
audio insert an audio isolation transformer to break the shield
continuity. If you want, it is easy to rig a "cough switch" so that you
can mute the microphone as needed, or you can mute it from the Windows
mixer and turn it back on when you're done operating digital modes for the
moment.
