[1000mp] Warranty Service -- a report from the front

The radio I sent in for service is FT-890/AT  about 10 years old.  This is
the first time it went in for any kind of service.  My MP went back once
under warranty.  Fixed in 4 weeks including shipping time both ways.  My
FT-100 went in for warranty although the problem with the FT-100's should
have been a factory recall.
