[1000mp] INRAD AGC MODIFICATION

Yesterday evening I was listening an 80m ssb qso with my 80m dipole inverted
vee on a  Bird coax switch selecting my FT1000MP or my old Cubic Astro
102BXA on reception.
I confirm that the Cubic received a nicer signal with a lot less band noise.
Take note that I was listening some italian station tech ragchew with signal
all stronger than 15dB over S9.
I am sure that theFT1000MP problem is the shorter agc decay that in speech
pauses introduce the band noise.
I am very interested to INRAD W2VJN agc modification for a slower agc decay.
I am interested to know how difficult result the modification and how it
perform on CW (fast qsk) and SSB reception.
