        I agree Ralph which is one reason I never subscribed to the previous
Majordomo version.  BUT, for your info and any others, it is possible with
Mailman to subscribe to this list, post messages and read all of them on the 
Web archive page without ever receiving a single E-mail!  Here's how:

1.  Go to listinfo at http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/1000mp
2.  Scroll to the bottom and enter your E-mail address then "Edit Options".
3.  Under the first subscription option, check ON to disable E-mails.
4.  Enter your password at the very bottom and press "Submit My Changes"
(5. Forgot your password already?  Click "E-mail my password to me" 
    on the line above Subscription options.)

Now, you can post messages and read all messages nicely organized by topic
at:  http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/1000mp/2001-December/thread.html
without receiving a single E-mail, worrying about the headers (they 
disappear in the Web version, and you can skip messages whose topics are
of no interest...and you don't have to download all those lengthy 
attachments to attachments to attachments...Mailman is great!
