[1000mp] Diversity reception

I was listening the W1AW code practice session this afternoon and propagation
was pretty bad.  I could here it on 17, 15 and 10 meters but there was a lot of
noise and deep QSB.  Just for the heck of it I tried using the main and sub RXs
to listen on two different bands.  It didn't work with 10 meters on the main and
15 on the sub but it did work very well the other way around with 15 on the main
and 10 meters on the sub.  With the main in the my left ear and the sub in my
right ear I could easily hear one or the other bands fade out but still copy the
remaining band.  I don't think I ever heard both bands fade out completely at
the same time.  This might be interesting it certainly isn't of much use for
QSOs unless the other op happens to be transmitting simultaneously on two bands.
