[1000mp] MkV ATU operation

I went down and tried to reverify what I said about the MkV tuning itself.
It
doesn't behave the way it was described to me by Yaesu.

When I'm in a band in which I have stored tunes and the SWR is below 3:1 the
rig
will not automatically tune itself. When I changed to band in which I didn't
have stored tunes and with a SWR significantly higher than 3:1 the rig tuned
itself AND remembered the tune when I switch away from the band and come
back
and even after turning the rig off.  If I press and hold the tune on the
band
with high SWR, after the rig has self tune to about 1.3:1, the rig won't
tune
and displays High SWR, but if I transmit it shows an SWR of about 1.3:1.
???

I have no idea what is going on with the self tuning routine.
