NPARC is a mailing list (or reflector) for members of the New Providence Amateur Radio Club (NJ USA). It is a way for club members to: * announce club meetings and other activities * ask for information or help on radio related topics * share information or interesting radio related discoveries * post "wanted" and "for sale" items * conduct group discussions Postings should relate generally to ham radio, ham support systems (such as computers), club activities, and topics that are in line with the scientific and electronic topics discussed at club meetings.
A. Using NPARC
1. To post a message to all the list members, send it to [email protected]. 2. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the NPARC Archive. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) 3. To view the list of other members or change your account options, go to the "Subscribers" section at the bottom of the page.
B. Subscribing to NPARC
Subscribe to NPARC by filling out the following form. (Please do NOT USE an "@arrl.net" address. You will not be able to send messages to the reflector with such an address.) You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address: Do NOT use an @arrl.net address   Your name and ham radio callsign (required):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Pick a password:   Reenter password to confirm:   Which language do you prefer to display your messages? C. NPARC Subscribers Only - change your account options
