[Yaesu] Yaesu FT450 loss of transmit

Happy Thanksgiving to list members in the US!



My FT450 (original, not D model) quit putting out power today in the middle of a 6m QSO.  It goes into transmit, but doesn't put out more than a watt or 2.  Tried a full reset, replaced the fuses in the power cord, and replaced the power supply, all with the same result.



I am guessing the finals or the driver transistor went out.  Any other common problems that could cause this issue?



Anyone have to send one in for this type of repair recently?  Trying to get an idea as to what a repair might cost and if it is better just to get a replacement.
