The FT-897 is basically a "do everything rig" covering DC to daylight with

Yaesu FP-707, 20 Amp Speaker/Power Supply:

The Yaesu FP-707 is a 20 amp 13.8 Volt DC Power Supply, with a very nice
front facing speaker in the same enclosure.

Cosmetically, it matches the FT-707, FT-747,
FT-757 and likely others.

Electrically, it can provide up to 20 amps, so will work with most any HF
and/or VHF rig.
It also has a set of binding posts on the back for easy connection of a rig
in addition to the HF rig.

The speaker has a 3.5 mm plug on it.

This particular unit is in very good shape both electrically and
cosmetically. I can not find a scratch, dent, or ding on it.
Electrically, it works as it should.

Buy this unit with manual for $125.
