Hello Gents,

FT-90r 

I’ve run into a strange squelchbug that I can’t seem to cure.

This ONLY happens on theVHF side, the uhf side is fine.

With the squelch controlquieting the noise, like we normally adjust it to and as the manual suggests, anyincoming signal will not open it or be seen via the S-meter bars! But if Iadjust the squelch control so I can hear noise, (un-squelched), it will receive/heara signal and show on the S-meter!

I am aware of the “RF”squelch setting/option and it is off. I verified this.

It does not matter if I’mon simplex or a repeater.

I did a full master processorreset, twice, but the bug persists.

I’ve read the manual acouple of times and can’t seem to find anything that will help.

I’ve even compared the VHF menusettings to the UHF menu settings and they are almost the same, with therepeater offset values being obviously different etc.

Can anyone please help withthis, ever seen this before?
