[Yaesu] FT-101E problem

It's been so long ago since I owned my FT101E but I know thereis a condition where this can happen that will fool the op sometimes.


I think a jumper plug missing in the back will do it.

Obiously if the RF or AF gain is turned down that wlil too.


Something to do with that little  VFO selector switch also perhaps?


If this doesn't help then I hope someone else can think what it is.

Subject: [Yaesu] FT-101E problem

Hi,

I fired up mFT-101E and it seems to have developed a problem.  The unit
powers up, the fan runs and the meter lamp light.

However there is no audio at all, not even noise.  Also the clarifier light
does not come on when the clarifier button is pushed.

Any suggestion on where to start?
