[Yaesu] Yaesu FT100 stiff VFO dial

John,
I have had excellent results with "Tri-Flow". It is an excellent
penetrating oil with "Teflon".
It does not gum-up like WD-40 and  other lubricants. If you have
trouble finding it, try a Bicycle shop.
