Gang, I have an old FT-980 that uses 2 AA batteries (3VDC) to back up the memories. I am looking at options and need an idea of what the current draw is. I suspect it is very low. I have two options other than the AA batteries...a 3 VDC wall transformer and a 3V battery used in a game boy. Thanks 73 Dave K4JRB
