[Yaesu] FT-102 Question

Is there the "SG" (screen grid) switch that disables the final amplifier when the unit is used with a VHF transverter?  If so, there is a good chance that this switch is in the "off" position or faulty.

I just traded for a nice FT-102 with a spare chassis for parts.

 

According to the previous owner the receiver works fine but has drive to the
finals but no drive out.  Any suggestions from the experienced?
