[Yaesu] FT1000 vs FT1000MP filters

I don't have easy access to the shop manuals or the operator's manual
for either radio, but I would check the parts list part number for the
two filters. It could be that Yaesu changed the filter ID nomenclature
without changing the filter or changed sources of filters and so have
different IDs. But if they stick with the two nomenclatures, that won't
help much. Then maybe the specs on bandpass and the circuit impedances
from the diagrams might hint at similarity or difference. Inrad is good
about averaging or improving on radio maker's specs for their
replacement filters.
I've not been pleased with CW filters that narrow, some have put out a
tone just from noise excitation and that wore me out copying CW during
FD once, I only lasted about 4 hours until I was fatigued. I prefer 500
Hz or wider.
