  I looked on QRZ and found a couple of FT-847s that sold for that price, so the only
thing I can think of is supply and demand, and the time of year.. It may may be that
no one has that kind of money to play with before Christmas.. two of the sales I saw
were in February of this year, which would lead me to think that a nice income tax
refund might come in handy.

  I'd say keep trying, but spread out.. here will work, but I'd also suggest QRZ and eHam..
and if it sells, please come back to the others and say it's sold!

  A nice radio like that, I wouldn't do eBay unless you really need to sell it now.. and
if so, put a decent reserve price on it.. good luck!
