[Yaesu] FT857 circuit board screws

Page 5 of the service manual says most are 2.6 x 5 mm self tapping.
"taptite", I presume coarse thread self tapping. Not often found in a US
hardware store. 2.5 are sometimes found in plain metric threads from
Europe, 2.6 is a Japanese standard size not agreed to in the rest of the
world. I think I've found 2.5 in a hobby shop catering to model RR
supplies. 2.5 hold in 2.6 v threads, but those are probably self
tapping. I've not had any loose to see.

McMAster-Carr www.mcmaster.com has 2.5 mm taptite screws:

They have 2.63 self tapping for plastic.

I usually find aluminum holes strip much easier than steel screws.

Mine has a couple that seem to have stripped threads, and would like to replace them. It would be great if I could get them locally, but if not, will order from Yaesu tomorrow.
