C4 will get er done! Just a few ounces and some det-cord, and the knob will
come right off.
<grin>.
I have not looked at a 736 in years. But typically, there is a rubber ring
that you can slip off. Under that rubber ring, you will find an Allen-head
set-screw. Probably metric.
