Oh - I totally agree.  It could be any day now.  We are all just one nuclear
missile or huge gigantic solar flare away from totally non-op equipment.  I
have an R-390A and a B&W 5100, both wrapped in tin-foil, with three spare
sets of tubes for each.

I only come out of my bunker to check mail.

Guess I never thought about it that much.  To me, all these rigs are
in danger of being unrepairable (by anyone) because of all the chips.
What is an example of a rig using a microcontroller?
