[Yaesu] FT-101zd question

Should be the same as my 901 although I have the 10 second tune  
button so don't need to worry about the tune time. Advancing the  
drive in 2 steps is tedious but is also 'safe' for some. Might depend  
on how 'fast' you can get. My drive adjustment isn't that subtle so I  
adjust the drive to full in 2 steps, although I've heard some just do  
it in 1.
This is just to get the rig properly tuned up to full and shouldn't  
be 'over-driven'. Returning the drive to zero allows you to choose  
the mic gain for SSB or go back to advancing the drive for CW.
Your CW and Tune positions should be two different things.
