[Yaesu] FL-2100 BandSwitch Needed...

I think one of two things happened to this amp... Either they switched with
drive applied or they applied too much drive when it was out of tune. I
know the precautions on these, the previous owner obviously did not.
I will have to start looking at the various sources and see if I can
retrofit a new switch but it won't be easy.

The key to longevity is being sturdy enough and then never switching
with RF applied. Probably 5 KV and 15 or 20 amps is adequate which rules
out the most common switch sizes.
RF Parts and Surplus Sales of Nebraska come to mind (along with Yaesu)
as sources. There's a slight chance Mouser or Digi-Key may have a sturdy
enough switch, but its less likely. Mounting and fitting inside the case
can be an issue with the sturdier switch because it takes large air gaps
to achieve a greater voltage rating and that has to make the switch larger.
