[Yaesu] ft 2000

I have a ft 2000 trying to run a grandmaster keyer. I have it wired correctly with 3 pin plug, but keyer doent work. I have ead all the menu options but cant find one that works. How does a MFJ grandmaster keyer work with a FT 2000? tnx
